First day of our winter trek. We put on our All Outdoor XCS200 hiking pants with their updated cut. Surprised by the afternoon showers, the water-repellent treatment repels the droplets of water. We stay nice and warm while still having good breathability thanks to its Bi-face™ construction. We easily pick up the pace. The pre-shaped knees, stretch fabric and gusseted crotch work to perfection. The 3 zipped pockets keep essentials close at hand. Let’s hurry back to the refuge. Our trekking pants will dry quickly before setting off again tomorrow.
