In addition, it has RF welded seams which increase its durability. It has been specially designed to be easily carried in jackets and bags with its slim profile and light weight. It has a flexible grip tab that makes it easy to fill and unfill the tank. The redesigned extra wide slide-deal opening makes it even easier to load and add ice cubes when needed. It also features a universal hook that is compatible with hooks, loops and clips on many brands of waistcoats and bags including Nathan, CamelBack, Salomon and Osprey. Its new ultra-light Comet bite valve closes automatically after each sip. It also unlocks and locks with one hand to prevent spillage when not in use. The Velocity 2L has also been developed with the Plug-N-Play connection system which allows the drink tube to be disconnected and the reservoir to be removed from the bag for easy refilling.
